Kmita Catalogue Features

Kmita Catalogue is MySQL powered PHP script. The script has numerous features which make Kmita Catalogue a great tool helping you to manage your product catalogue.

Visitor Presentation Features

Template Based

The script uses templates and populates data from the database in the page which is shown to the visitor. You can match the templates according to your website. Additionally, you can have multiple templates so as to match the tempo of the product with the page.

Eg: On Kids section of your website you can have a template which has some toy images.

Product Thumbnails and Listings

On the product listings, your products has product thumbnails and the size of the image is specified by you in the HTML template itself.

[|subcatimage,50,50|] : specifies the size of the product thumbnail. This tag specifies thumbnail size of 50 pixels x 50 pixels.

The product listings pages has few lines of product description, length of which can be stated in the category template of the category.

Product Image
Your product page has a product image. The size of the product image can be changed from the template assigned to that product. It works similar to the thumbnail image tag.

Product Description

You can place the product description and various product attributes on the product page. The template can have description tag or attribute tags anywhere in the page.

Image View (View Larger Picture Feature)

You can have unlimited images for your product. On the image view page, it has thumbnails on one side and a bigger picture in some noticeable location of the page.

Categorized Display, Easy to Navigate
All the product listings are displayed in a categorized way which makes your visitor to understand your website design more and your visitor feels more like browsing through your website. .

Search Product Database Tool
Search script searches through the description of each product and gives the results in descending order of their relevance. The search results are displayed in the template provided by you. .

Random Product Display
Random product can be displayed on the category pages of Kmita Catalogue. .

Kmita Catalogue stores product description along with any product specific attributes. It has an inbuilt HTML builder for the HTML text in product attributes.

Add text directly. The editor converts your text into HTML. Easy to use, MS Word type interface. .

Uploads product images
Forget those hassles of uploading the images through FTP. Kmita Catalogue uploads images through your browser and displays it immediately. You can add unlimited images for a single product.

Installed on your Website
Kmita Catalogue script will be completely installed on your website and is not a hosted solution. You can modify the code files too, if required by you to best suit your purpose.
